Our Co-Ministers

Rev. Lynn Gardner and Rev. Wendy Bartel began their ministry with us in August of 2010 as consulting co-ministers.  On May 20th, 2012, we formally voted to call them as our settled co-ministers! Both Lynn and Wendy graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry in May of 2009. Their individual callings and their collective calling to co-ministry is deeply connected to creating more justice and more joy through Unitarian Universalism, compassionate communication, meaningful worship, self-reflection, spiritual practice, empowering education, asking powerful questions, and honoring our interdependence with each choice we make, while recognizing we are accountable to one another, to the larger community, and to the entire world. 

Rev. Wendy's background is in Music Therapy, working with people with a variety of skills and diagnoses and ran a private practice teaching music lessons, performing, directing choirs, and music therapy with children and adults. Rev. Lynn's background is in child development and she ran an in-home daycare for preschool aged children for 20 years. They co-parent their daughter Meghan who is a college student.
