Neighborhood Beacons

One of the ways to serve at SFUU is to become a Neighborhood Beacon. These are folks who assist members and friends or who coordinate assistance for members and friends who live in their neighborhood who may need some care. They also coordinate at least one social gathering per year for your Beacon group and/or with nearby Beacon groups as a way for folks to connect in a purely social way outside of Sunday morning service and social hour.

You can learn more about becoming a Neighborhood Beacon, please contact Carol Arvay or Beryl Mayne or one of the co-ministers. You can read more on the Care page.
