Caring Ministry

We care. We really do. And how each of us needs to be cared for and how each of us offers care is unique to us, influenced by our own personalities and styles, our education and/or training, and our comfort or lack thereof being present with and for others. This is why it is so important to reflect on and to communicate what our needs are and to practice asking for what we need. Some folks like to receive mail. Others would rather get a phone call. Some like folks to just drop by. Others do not like unexpected company. We know that if you are a caregiver for someone, you might also need caring. No matter what curve ball life has tossed your way, please reach out if you need help.

The Caring Ministry Team can help line up care in the form of company or casseroles (and then some!) The co-ministers are available for pastoral care appointments.

Our Caring Ministry Team Coordinators are Carol Arvay and Beryl Mayne. They work with the our consulting co-ministers Rev. Lynn Gardner and Rev. Wendy Bartel and also our Neighborhood Beacon groups to coordinate care for our congregation.
