Course- Immigration as a Moral Issue

COURSE
“Immigration as a Moral Issue”

SFUU’s Social Action Committee, Adult R.E./Programs Committee, and the co-ministers are excited to collaborate in presenting a seven-session course on “Immigration as a Moral Issue.”

Topics will include the principles and practice of non-violent communication; understanding the causes of migration; the history and economics of immigration; migration’s relationship to security, enforcement, and human rights; who benefits − and who does not − from migration; and seeking solutions to these problems.

We hope it will not only prepare UU’s to attend General Assembly in Phoenix this coming June but also help participants to engage more effectively in justice work in their own communities.

Dates:    Tuesdays—Feb.7 & 21; March 6 & 20; April 3 & 17.
