Music at SFUU

Everyone participates in music-making during SFUU worship services. We listen, sing, chant, and drum to help us express emotions. Music also helps awaken our spiritual selves and lets us experience the world with our hearts and souls and not just with our minds.

Our music director, Patricia Leftridge, accompanies us on the piano most Sundays and plays thoughtful and moving pieces during the service. We also have guest musicians from within SFUU and from the community.

SFUU CHOIR REHEARSALS

Our choir will sing to celebrate Earth Day on April 21. Rehearsals are Sundays, March 24 and April 7; Monday, April 8; Thursday, April 11; and Sunday, April 14. The Sunday rehearsals will be from 12:30 - 2:30 PM; Monday & Thursday rehearsals will be from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. You need to attend at least 3 rehearsals or make arrangements with Music Director, Patricia (Pattiey) Leftridge. Sound check for both worship services will be at 8:00 AM on April 21.
