You know, bread, like dough, like cash. Ready to have a gas? Come and join us for a night of dinner, groovy dancing and fundraising. The party is April 29, 2017 at the First Congregational Church of Auburn/United Church of Christ. Dress in your favorite late 60s/early 70's look and get ready to have a gas on the dance floor.
You are not going to want to miss this cool event, man:
The dinner is going to be far out! – Your fellow members are planning an informal, sit down meal so we can enjoy some fellowship before we get the party started!
The auction and the gift baskets are going to be a blast. This is your chance to score some great items and help our congregation
We'll have kid’s activities. A dedicated staff will be on hand to keep the little ones entertained in a separate space. Kids will have dinner and fun stuff in a separate room for some nice ‘adult time’, then they will be invited to participate in dancing.
And get ready to rock out - we are going to have the best dance party yet!
- Youth group members will once again be welcomed to help out with the event or can simply attend to watch the grownups make fools of themselves!
What you can do to help:
Buy a ticket to the event: Use the shopping cart below to buy tickets with a credit card, or buy tickets from our ticket sellers before or after church. Tickets are $15 for adults (14+). Folks under 14 are free. You presence is important in building community. Ticket sales help offset costs associated with hosting the event.
Donate to the silent auction or raffle: We are focusing the silent auction portion of this event on services, social events, and outings – can you give a massage, teach a class, coordinate a hike or a dinner? Do you have a special gourmet item or gift certificate to donate to the raffle? VOLUNTEER!! Volunteers are needed to help with set up, decorating, serving food, and cleaning up. If the ticket price is keeping you away, please talk to Amy Evans about exchanging your volunteer hours for admission to the party.
Please email Amy Evans at email@example.com or Jeff Chamberlain at firstname.lastname@example.org or see Amy or Jeff on Sunday after service to help, to donate or with questions.
Please spread the word to your SFUU friends and watch for the emails, flyers, and other announcements. Contact Amy or Jeff if you want to help or have questions.
