Visioning Task Force

The VTF was formed and started meeting in the Fall 2025 and will host a congregational meeting on January 25, 2026 to share its work and first recommendations. 

GUIDING PRINCIPLES:

• Task force to think about and investigate long-term plans for SFUU, as in 5-10 years

• Three main organizing questions

  • Finances

  • Ministry

  • Physical space/building

• The task force will give maximum consideration to “The Voice of the Congregation” through the visioning notes from Spring 2025 first, and then by potential congregational meetings in the future

• The task force will focus on investigating possibilities, drafting a proposal (potentially with several possible courses of action), and then soliciting input from the congregation, possibly followed by another cycle of investigation, draft proposals, and congregational input.
